Boutros files second lawsuit against MetroHealth, alleges defamation and breach of contract

Dr. Akram Boutros, the former MetroHealth president and CEO who was fired in November after the hospital system's board raised questions about bonuses he authorized for himself, on Thursday, Dec. 15, filed a lawsuit claiming defamation of character, wrongful termination and breach of contract. It's the second lawsuit he has filed against MetroHealth in a little more than two weeks.
