Westmoreland Hospital Auxiliary marks 125 years of financial, volunteer support
The Women’s Association of Westmoreland Regional Hospital purchased a new sewing machine in 1906. By the 1920s, the volunteer group’s cutting and sewing committees were turning out more than 900 garments a week for use at Greensburg’s hospital. Fast forward a century, and you’d find the renamed Westmoreland Hospital Auxiliary
