Last year, Joining Industries — the parent of three separate companies — bought two buildings with more than 78,000 square feet of combined space to house a growing workforce of 110 employees.
Joining Industries – an advanced manufacturer with 30-year-old roots – recently paid $3 million for the East Granby building in which it is located. “Our businesses are doing very well,” said David Hudson, CEO of Joining Industries. “They are growing. The building has a lot of value, and the seller was ready.” Hudson said the purchase of the 45,110-square-foot building at 17 Connecticut South Drive, gives his company greater ability to make improvements on its schedule.
