A new contract change is intended to prevent lawsuits from being automatically passed to Enhance La Jolla and other maintenance assessment districts, city councilman says.
The case, filed against the city of San Diego on Sept. 29, comes soon after Enhance La Jolla's contract with the city was renewed and modified to reduce the organization's liability in such cases.
