From the Associated Press — The Michigan Senate has unanimously approved $3.3 billion in water infrastructure spending to replace lead pipes and repair dams
The state House voted Thursday to dramatically boost funding for police officers in schools. It was in response to Tuesday’s shootings at Oxford High School that left four students dead and seven other people wounded.
The line item went from $10 million dollars to $50 million dollars in the budget bill adopted Thursday.
