A bill to make the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority a freestanding state agency is headed to Gov. Kevin Stitt's desk.
The Republican majority overrode the concerns of the Democrat minority that the wording of the bill may be used to criminalize homelessness and lawful protests.
The measure would ask Oklahoma voters to make district judge elections partisan and change some of the qualifications for practicing law in the state.
Another bill that would restrict abortions in Oklahoma is heading to Gov. Stitt’s desk.
