£718,000 for affordable homes in South Cumbria 23/12/2020 An ambitious scheme to provide much-needed affordable housing in a village community has been backed to the tune of £718,244 through grants approved by South Lakeland District Council. Extra accommodation for rough sleepers to be created in South Lakeland 18/12/2020 Extra bed spaces for rough sleepers or people at risk of rough sleeping are to be created in South Lakeland thanks to a successful £388,987 funding bid to government.
