Mark Evans, from whom she was estranged, has died at the age of 57. A source told The Sun, “Mark’s family are of course very upset by his passing. He always hoped things would work out with Adele, but it remained acrimonious to the end. He made a few attempts to make things right but clearly it had been too long.” Mark left Adele and her mom, Penny Adkins, when the future superstar was three years old. He moved to Wales, where he was born, and worked as a plumber. According to The Sun, he previously battled cancer but the cause of death was not revealed.
