Landmark IT upgrade launched in South Eastern Trust as patient records move from paper to digital
After seven years of intensive preparations, the South Eastern Trust has launched a new IT system moving patient records from paper to digital. The 'encompass' system will also be rolled out to all health trusts in Northern Ireland over the next 18-24 months.
