Some months ago, when the Covid-19 virus was at a lull , I went to Shreveport, Louisiana. I used to work for a company that had van drivers from Gilmer and Longview driving fresh railroad-crews to distant trains as far away as to Shreveport and Martin Lake coal-fired electric plant and return the departing crews back to Longview.
On my job-route, I d often pass-by the Sunset Masonic Lodge #438. I d see a bunch of cars and wanted to stop, but I was on-duty and couldn t then. It took me eight years. I recently fulfilled that promise.
