(KFVS) - A school bus and a pick-up truck were involved in a crash on Tuesday morning, May 11. According to McClure-East Cape Girardeau Fire Chief Riley Webb, a pick-up truck rear-ended a school bus on Grapevine Trail in front of the McClure town hall. The crash happened at 7:13 a.m. Both lanes of traffic were closed while Illinois State Police investigated. Chief Webb said two individuals received minor injuries in the crash. Illinois State Police confirmed the injured were juveniles. They were transferred by ambulance to an area hospital. ....

(KFVS) - Crews battled an a fire at Mr. Aâs Lounge in Sandusky, Illinois on Sunday night, March 7. Tamms firefighters were called to the business at 9:45 p.m.. According to Tamms Fire Department Captain Williams, the building is a total loss. Tammese Arnold, the owner of the business, said it was âdevastating when we found out what happened.â According to Arnold, the lounge was the last business in the community and had been in her family for 50 years. ....

(KFVS) - One southbound lane of Interstate 57 at the 20 mile marker is open after two SEMI tractor trailers hauling tomatoes crashed early Thursday morning, December 17. According to the Mississippi County Sheriff’s department, the crash that happened at 2:45 a.m. Both southbound lanes had been closed for about 2 and a half hours. Crews worked as fast as they could to remove one of the SEMIs, debris and the tomatoes in order to get traffic moving. ....
