A nine-county coalition, including Hubbard and Beltrami counties, had made a $26.84-million capital funding request in April.
As part of a nine-member coalition – Beltrami, Cass, Clearwater, Hubbard, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Polk and Red Lake counties – the total bonding request to the Minnesota Legislature is $26,840,000.
County commissioners took action on several items to advance economic and housing development in the county.
The Hubbard County Solid Waste Department and Hubbard County Developmental Achievement Center are united in their effort to reduce the flow of reusable material into the landfill.
In Hubbard County, the DNR manages 639,536 acres, or about 14% of the county’s land base.
