Dozens of members of the Class of 1973 gathered at the high school last weekend to celebrate their 50th reunion and present a meaningful class gift.
LEOMINSTER — Ivy Sasu is feeling a gamut of emotions as she wraps up not only her high school career but the successful “Celebrating the Success of Women of Color” speaker series she spearheaded while at Leominster High School.
Josh Romano, a one-time high-profile Richmond house flipper, has been sentenced to a term of nine years in federal prison.
“I think ultimately that is reflective of how this case isn’t what anybody thinks it seemed on its face,” Romano’s attorney said of the mixed verdict. Sentencing is set for Jan. 19.
At one point renovating and selling nearly 30 homes in a year, Romano’s Cobblestone Development Group hit a high point in 2017 when it was featured in an HGTV pilot called “Richmond Rehabbers.”
