The Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post received a 911 call on Sunday, April 04, 2021, regarding a shots fired complaint in Pike County.
KSP troopers and investigators responded to a residence on Chloe Road where they discovered a property dispute between neighbors had led to an altercation and one man shot.
The initial investigation indicated Jerry Coleman discharged a firearm during the altercation with five individuals.
David Taylor suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Pikeville Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Jerry Coleman was transported by Lifeguard Ambulance Service to Pikeville Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Five people in Pike County are facing assault charges after a man was shot during a fight.
The Kentucky State Police were responding to a shots fired call. KSP troopers and investigators responded to a residence on Chloe Road where they discovered a property dispute between neighbors had led to an altercation and one man being shot. Surveillance footage from Mountain Top News shows the fight breaking out on Sunday.
The initial investigation indicated Jerry Coleman discharged a firearm during the altercation with five individuals.

Clayton Kruger of Coffman Engineers has obtained his professional process engineering license. A graduate from Montana State University with a degree in chemical engineering and biological engineering, Kruger offers insight on operational system performance through hydrocarbon processing modeling, process controls, safety relief and vessel/piping fitness for service, stress analysis, equipment and material selection, vessel design, industrial process, and piping system design for both brownfield and greenfield designs. Kruger has been with Coffman since 2015.
Arin “AJ” Wooster of Coffman passed the mechanical engineering exam and obtained his Alaska Professional Engineering License. Wooster is a 2020 graduate of the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a master’s degree in petroleum engineering and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Wooster joined Coffman in 2019 and is an active member in American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
