Iowa Park woman who tried to bribe way out of probation program charged with animal cruelty
Joy Jackson, 64, has been charged with animal cruelty charges and violations of bond and probation requirements. In 2019 Jackson was arrested after deputies and animal control officers raided her home on FM 368 outside of Iowa Park. After that Jackson was in and out of jail, one arrest came just four months after being placed on five years of probation in June 2021. This time was for failing to use an ignition lock to prevent driving drunk and for being in possession of animals and cages.
