The constable, aged in her early 20s, was hospitalised with burns to her scalp and face but police confirmed she was discharged the same night. Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen said the police officer was likely to spend the rest of the week off work but had visited the station yesterday to reassure colleagues she was on the mend.
