A new judge has been appointed in the civil case involving a former physician who is serving 39 life sentences for sexually abusing dozens of prepubescent girls in Pike and Clark counties.
A judge recused himself Thursday from a lawsuit filed by victims of a former physician who pleaded guilty last year in Clark and Pike counties to sexually assaulting 31 children.
One of Barry Walker’s victims, now 22, blamed those close to Walker for not stopping him before he sexually abused more than 30 girls. “They failed us,” she told NBC News.
