Out Lexington Way: Thankful for the coming New Year
Happy New Year! Well, we certainly wonât forget 2020 Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with heavy rain on top of two feet of snow. Very difficult time with flooding, evacuations, concerns for everyoneâs safety, all the firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, highway crews working around the clock to help. As bad as this was, it wasnât the same level as Tropical Storm Irene in 2011. We can be thankful for that. There are numerous road closures here on the Mountain Top.
