Wright, Joyce On May 26, we lost a woman of great energy and many talents, our mother, Joyce E. Wright, at the age of 97. Born on May 6, 1926, Joyce married William H. Wright in 1947 and moved from South Dakota to the Minneapolis area, settling in Minnetonka. Her six daughters, Nancy Brekke (Bruce), Deborah Wright (Richard), Sally Wright, Wendy Mattera (Alphonse), Peggy Edlund, Laurie Kvam (Kevin); six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren were the focus of her active life.
