An attorney for a Meredosia man facing murder charges has filed a motion demanding a trial by jury on the issue of fitness, though the courts are questioning whether that is appropriate at this time.
Attorney Tom Piper filed a motion Feb. 26 with the Morgan County courts, demanding a trial by jury on fitness for Dustin A. Finlaw, 20, of Meredosia, who was found unfit for trial in October 2018.
