Third District Judge Lisa Schultz retires LAS CRUCES - Third Judicial District Judge Lisa Schultz has left the building. Her time with the Third District came to an end on June 30, leaving a vacancy that officials hope to fill within the next few months. Schultz had been on the bench in Doña Ana County since 2006. Voters retained her in 2020. Her cases will be dolled out to other Third District judges by former Third District Judge Jeanne Hetzel Quintero.
