Zambian High Commissioner accredited to India Judith Kapijimpanga has advised Indian Small and Medium Enterprises ( SMEs ) to partner with their Zambian counterparts for benchmarking. Ms Kapijimpanga praised the Indian government over the growth of the SME sector which is contributing effectively to the growth of the economy. The High Commissioner says as SMEs are the engines where large corporations emerge from, therefore Zambia is benchmarking from the growth path of the Indian SME sector for jobs creation. Ms Kapijimpanga said this when she officiated at the SMEBIZZ Entrepreneur’s Award 2021 in New Delhi, India. She further invited the business community to invest in Zambia because of political stability, peace and democracy. ....
Zambia’s High Commissioner to India, Judith Kapijimpanga has commended Indian contractor, Jaguar Overseas Limited on the completion of the 359 out of the 409 health posts allocated to the company. Mrs Kapijimpanga implored the company to expeditiously complete the remaining 50 health posts so that people could access quality services under universal health coverage. She assured Jaguar Overseas that the Zambian government will address the challenges the company is facing in implementing the construction of health posts across the country. Yashoda Multi-Specialty Hospital in Indian has donated 200 specialized Medical books worth 3,500 united states dollars to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) College of Nursing. Yashoda Hospitals Southern African Development Cooperation SADC Regional Head, Rohan Biharda, said the two million square feet hospital trains 1000 nurses and paramedics every year . Dr Biharda said the hospital had also trained five Zambians in 2019 and that another five more group of nurses will be trained in 2021 at one of its six nursing colleges in Indian this year. “The 200 books donation is part of the Yashoda Hospital Social Corporate Responsibility and management plans to donate 300 more books and mannequins in the next four months,” Dr. Biharda explained. ....
