IN THE GARDEN | A WORLD WITHOUT BEES
Grow a bee friendly garden to ensure food baskets of our nation are never empty of fresh fruit and vegetables — apples, melons, pumpkin, squash, broccoli, almonds, among others. Bees pollinate over 50 percent of the flowers of vegetables and fruit for our everyday table. Wheat, rice, corn and sugar cane crops which don’t need the help of bees to produce food do survive in a world without bees.
