The Mt. Carmel Police Department is searching for a black male, dreadlock style hair, wearing yellow pants and a yellow shirt. The male was last seen on foot headed northeast from CVS towards Jumpin' Jimmy's. This subject was the driver that caused a vehicle collision at 9th & Market St Saturday afternoon. The black male was driving a black ford F350 pulling a trailer that collided with three vehicles in front of him. The F350 became disabled, and the subject fled on foot. Dispatch determined the F350 was stolen out of Georgia. According to witnesses, the vehicle made no attempt to stop indicating either a malfunction with the brakes or a deliberate attempt to cause an accident. At least three people were injured and transported to the Wabash General Hospital by the Wabash General Ambulance Service. Mt. Carmel Fire Dept. and the Wabash County Sheriff's Office also assisted.
