MANSEHRA: The upper parts of Hazara received rain and snowfall for the third consecutive day on Sunday, disrupting electricity supply to Siran valley.
The rain and snowfall, which started on Friday evening, continued on the third day in Mansehra, Torghar, Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan and Kolai-Palas districts, bringing the mercury down.
The roads, which were blocked during the recent rains and snowfall, couldn’t be cleared to traffic adding to the misery of the people.
Deputy Commissioner Qasim Ali Khan directed the National Highway Authority and the Communications and Works department to clear the roads. ....

MANSEHRA: The upper parts of Hazara received rain and snowfall for the third consecutive day on Sunday, disrupting electricity supply to Siran Valley.

MANSEHRA/SHANGLA: Heavy snowfall in upper parts of Hazara division and Shangla blocked roads, including the Karakoram Highway, on Saturday.
While upper reaches of Mansehra, Torghar, Upper and Lower Kohistan and Kolai-Palas districts received snowfall, rain continued to lash the plains throughout Saturday starting on Friday evening.
The KKH was blocked in Sharkool and Chaterplan areas for over two hours after snowfall made the strategically important artery slippery.
The Kaghan, Siren and Konsh valleys in Mansehra district and Kandia and Spat valleys in Upper Kohistan received snowfall blocking many link roads. ....

MANSEHRA: The upper parts of Hazara Division on Saturday received heavy rain and snowfall, triggering landslides due to which the Karakoram Highway (KKH) and many link roads in the region were blocked.
The rain and snowfall, which started on Friday evening, continued intermittently in Mansehra, Torghar, Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan and Kolai-Palas districts throughout the day.
The KKH was blocked at Sharkool and Chaterplain areas for over two hours after the heavy snowfall made the strategically important artery slippery.
The Kaghan, Siran and Konsh valleys in Mansehra district and Kandia and Spat valleys in Upper Kohistan also received snowfall, blocking many link roads. ....

ABBOTTABAD: A large number of tourists Saturday from various places of the country rushed Galyat to enjoy live snowfall which was continued on the second consecutive day.
Galyat and Thandyani have received 1.75 feet snow during the third spell of current winter snowfall which has increased the attraction of Galyat for tourists.
The other tourist spots including Kaghan, Naran, and Shugran have received more than 4 feet of snow during the last two days which stuck life in the upper Mansehra district and most roads were blocked.
According to the Meteorological department weather forecast for the upper parts of the Hazara division, the current spell of snowfall and rain would be ended late at night. ....
