Discovery Center offers Kansas Day virtual workshops
MANHATTAN – The Flint Hills Discovery Center is leading virtual workshops to celebrate Kansas Day from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., each day on Thursday, Jan. 28 and Friday, Jan. 29 (observed). This year marks the 160th anniversary of the day that Kansas was granted statehood in 1861. 
Celebrate Kansas Day with a Virtual Workshop from the Flint Hills Discovery Center. A host will take you through the official Kansas State Symbols including the Bison, Honeybee, Little Bluestem, and “live” visits from our state turtle and state amphibian. ....
