Our Correspondent Diphu, June 21 (EMN): Karbi Anglong observed the 8th International Yoga Day (IYD) along with the rest of the world. In Diphu town, various institutions, organisations and political parties observed IYD by organising yoga sessions and speeches on the importance of yoga for physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. At Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA) stadium, the IYD was jointly organised by Kreeda Bharati; Nehru Yuva Kendra, Diphu; KASA; Karbi Anglong Mountaineering Association (KAMA) and District Administration; Chief Executive Member (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang and other elected members of KAAC and the general public attended the yoga session. BJP-East Karbi Anglong District Committee office members also observed the IYD.
