The bi-annual sale on Saturday offers attendees the chance to talk directly to members of the local nursery community.
Featuring Big Isle mom-and-pop nurseries, the Plant People Road Show is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Makaeo Pavilion at Old Kona Airport State Recreation Area.
Days are a bit chilly but are getting longer. However, there is a noticeable spring fever effect when it comes to local gardeners because many fragrant flowering plants start blooming at this time. Also, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner so it is time to shop for gifts.
The Plant People Road Show will be held on Oct. 28 at the Makaʻeo Pavilion at Old Kona Airport State Recreation Area, showcasing local family-owned and independent nurseries.
