The "Baroque for All Celebration" in Richmond this weekend
The local ensemble RVA Baroque is presenting a "Baroque for All Celebration" this weekend (July 15-17) in various locations across Richmond. It's a three-day community music festival, with engaging and eclectic programs. VPM's Mike Goldberg previews the event with Artistic Director Raphael Seligmann, along with Karine Marshall, President of Capitol Opera Richmond and Christopher Swanson, who will direct and conduct a performance of Claudio Monteverdi's "The Coronation of Poppea."
