Dan Whelan Bloor Homes and Taylor Wimpey have submitted a joint planning application to build up to 500 homes on land off Sandy Lane and Tabley Lane in Cottam, north-west of Preston city centre. Daniel Whelan Housebuilder Bloor Homes has opened a public consultation on proposals to build 650 homes across 97 acres close to Crewe Hall Enterprise Park, east of the town centre. Bloor Homes’ South Cheshire Growth Village proposal includes a market square featuring local retail and community uses, and a network of pedestrian and cycle routes connecting the clutches of houses within the development.
