A CITY school has announced there has been a positive case of coronavirus within the setting. Pitmaston Primary School sent a letter out to parents on January 12 informing them of a confirmed case of the virus in year one. The letter read: “We have been advised that there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 within Year 1 in school. Subsequently, the two Year 1 bubbles for both pupils and staff are closed. We are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England. The school remains open for critical worker bubbles. in the other year groups and providing your child remains well they can continue to attend school as normal. We will keep this under review. ....
