Turkey When it comes to the main event, be it chicken or turkey, our food stylist Keletso Motau has this to say. “Take your chicken out of the fridge ahead of time to allow it to come to room temperature before popping it into the oven. This will allow for a quicker cooking time and more even cooking. I often put the chicken in the fridge the night before, uncovered.
