(RNS) — While reductive narratives depict priests as perfect heroes or evil villains, said writer and producer Stephen Fichter, truth is more complicated.
"Trinity's Triumph," the Rev. Stephen Fichter's coming-of-age tale about young clergy, was filmed locally and includes extras from his Wyckoff church.
Father Stephen Fichter explained that the church is often portrayed in an 'idealized manner' in movie. He said his goal with the film was to provide, an authentic and modern look beyond the seminary walls.
