Paulette Pierce WILLIAMSBURG — Paulette Pierce, 71, was born Oct. 26, 1949, to the late James Gaither Sr. and Gracie May James Gaither in York County. She departed this life Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Paulette attended the York County Public Schools and was a well-known member of the Williamsburg York Starlets softball team. On Oct. 26, 1970, she was joined in holy matrimony to Elijah Pierce Sr. From this union, three children were born. She retired from Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel.
