We also have more good news to share in this week's Bowie County Sheriff's Report, arrests were way down last week. The fourth week of November brought us 43 arrests made by Bowie County Deputies. Of those 43, Bowie County Deputies made 10, and the remaining 33 were made by other law enforcement agencies and subsequently handed them to Bowie County.

TEXARKANA, Texas -- A Texarkana man has been arrested after allegedly shooting his girlfriend in the shoulder early Sunday morning at an apartment complex.

A jury acquitted Kyle Rittenhouse last month on charges related to his Aug. 25, 2020, shooting of three white men during a chaotic, destructive night of civil unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This came as little surprise to anyone who watched the trial with an open mind.

Because he had claims of lawful self-defense, Kyle Rittenhouse would still have been acquitted even if he was black.
