Pow Wow 30th anniversary artwork unveiled
In celebration of their 30th anniversary, the Standing Bear Native American Foundation asked Kayla Maxwell to create a special piece of art for this year’s pow wow program cover and t-shirts. Kayla chose to do ledger art inspired by the two bison on the island at Standing Bear Park. That artwork was digitized and converted to screenprint art for this year’s t-shirts. It became quite a cooperative effort involving talented staff at Village Screen Print and A+ Printing.
