But her mother, Veniesha Buckley, told THE STAR that things are looking a bit better as Kaylan had a pacemaker inserted last Saturday. She, however, remains on a ventilator at the University Hospital of the West Indies. “The pacemaker will help to guard against the cardiac arrest. All now I can’t believe it that her heart stopped beating for 20 minutes last time. Last week her heart stopped twice in 24 hours. Her heart had stopped a total of seven times before but 20 minutes was the longest that it had ever happened. She is the strongest person I know,” she said. ....
