Saginaw man charged with life offense in dispute that led to gunfire Updated Jan 12, 2021; Facebook Share SAGINAW, MI — Police have arrested a man accused of opening fire on another man on a Saginaw street in broad daylight. Officers on Sunday, Jan. 10, located and arrested Willie Scott Jr., 29, and lodged him in the Saginaw County Jail. The next day, Scott appeared before Saginaw County District Judge M. Randall Jurrens for arraignment on single counts of assault with intent to murder — a life offense — carrying a concealed weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition and three counts of felony firearm.
Saginaw woman charged in dispute that led to gunfire, police seeking 2nd person Updated Jan 07, 2021; Facebook Share SAGINAW, MI — A Saginaw mother is charged in connection with a daytime eruption of gunfire along a Saginaw street. Saginaw County District Judge Elian E.H. Fichtner on Thursday, Jan. 7, arraigned Kaylen D. Oehring, 52, on single counts of assault with intent to murder and felony firearm. The charges stem from an incident that occurred about 1:18 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5, and began at Babel Food Market, 2321 Webber St. on Saginaw’s East Side, police said. Oehring and an adult man visited the store, the latter of whom got into a disagreement with another male customer, said Saginaw Police Sgt. Matthew Gerow.
