Pat Dowdy Pat Dowdy, 72, of Paragould, Ark., passed from this life on December 19, 2020, at the NEA Hospital, Jonesboro, Ark. She was born in the Rector, Ark., area to Norene (Eaton) Barlow. Her Uncle Hollis Eaton lovingly helped raise Pat. Pat was involved with many activities and enjoyed life to the fullest. She married Keith Dowdy on Dec. 19, 1981 and spent 39 years married to her best friend. She influenced many children with her teaching at Rector Elementary School, and in the Greenway School District, for 33 years.
