Police are here in force around eastern mass, not just somerville. They dont disagree with the black lives matter people. What they disagree with is the fact that the banner is hung on a public publicking. We do not oppose the nucleas of e ideology. Our core values are similar, equality for everyone. The community put up the banner almost a year ago speaks to our values. We are trying to understand and set a model for the rest of the nation how we come together in how we implement our policies and beliefs and programs.
