MARYVILLE — The Lincoln Blue Tigers dropped a men’s-women’s basketball doubleheader Thursday night to Northwest Missouri State.
Two wins separate the Norwalk girls basketball team from a trip to the state tournament, and the journey continues tonight with a regional semifinal trip to #13 Creston. The Warriors snapped a three-game skid with a first round home win over Des Moines Hoover, which Norwalk controlled and dominated the entire way. Creston is the #2 seed in the region, thus earning a first round bye. They’ll open their postseason with their first game in over a week, after falling to #1 Glenwood in the season finale.
