Lake Park Man Pleads Not Guilty to Vehicular Homicide By charguth April 8, 2021 5:55 am Saga Communications Harris, IA (KICD)– A Lake Park man charged with two counts of felony vehicular homicide in connection to a fatal crash last summer nearly two years ago has plead not guilty. Christopher Bosma was charged last March following a lengthy investigation into the ATV crash about three miles southwest of Harris in July 2019. Police say Bosma was operating a Polaris Ranger on Warbler Avenue a short distance north of Highway 9 when he accelerated “aggressively” ejecting his passenger, 34-year-old Kelsie Sturm who later died from her injuries. ....
Lake Park man pleads not guilty in ATV death Wed 4-7-2021 (Sibley) A Lake Park man charged in the July 18, 2020 death of a woman who was a passenger on a utility vehicle he was driving has pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide. 48-year-old Christopher Bosma was charged in the death of 34-year-old Kelsie Sturm in the incident that took place near Harris. He s scheduled to on trial June 15 th in Osceola County District Court. Court documents say Bosma was participating in a poker ride that involved stops at bars in several towns. The documents say Bosma had admitted to drinking around 11:30 that morning. Investigators say at the time of the crash Bosma s blood alcohol content was between .190 and .220 percent. ....
