The smell of hamburgers filled the air at Kemble Park in Utica Wednesday afternoon.

Utica, N.Y.-- Over 2,000 Utica residents were without power this afternoon. National Grid's Outage Map showed the outage stretching all the way from the SUNY Poly Campus to Kemble Park

Accessibility and improvements were the central focus of a Utica city councilor forum, where First District Councilor Katie Aiello, Fifth District Councilor Venice Ervin, and Republican candidate Mike Zalocha responded to how they would address the specific needs for the city.

Mayor Robert M. Palmieri and Councilman Venice Ervin, D-5, have announced that improvements to Kemble Park have been completed and residents are invited to enjoy the amenities.

This year, beginning Thursday, June 15, a series of walks, runs, events and programs for all ages will take place to bring the community together.
