Mike Dreith was elected Fairfield Mayor last night, defeating Teresa Robinson and Nate McGaha. Dreith collected a total of 762 votes. His opponents had 302 and 48, respectively, after unofficial totals. In Cisne, Roy Atwood was re-elected Mayor, defeating Ken Neff and Christy King. Atwood had 77 votes compared to 68 and six from his opponents. Fairfield’s Alderman races were tightly contested, with one still up in the air. The Wayne County Health Department will hold another drive-through vaccination clinic tomorrow, beginning at 9 a.m. People should go to the staging area at the Wayne County Fairgrounds by using the east entrance to the property on West Main Street. People will then be directed by staff when it is their turn to go to the health department for the vaccine. As with previous clinics in the county, there is no reservation list, and the clinic will be conducted in a first-come, first-serve manner.
