Ken Steinkamp and Sandy Sikorski couple found a pearl in a clam while dining at a restaurant in 2021. Two years later they had the pearl made into a ring and now they're engaged. “This is a Hallmark story if there ever was one," said Steinkamp, 75.
Sandy Sikorski was eating clams at the now-shuttered Bridge Restaurant in Westerly, RI, with her beau, Ken Steinkamp, two days after Christmas in 2021 when she noticed one of the shellfish tasted a bit strange.
