Many flock to Fayetteville gas stations to fill up, causing shortage
Until it picks back up, Fayetteville's taking a hit. Representatives from GasBuddy say the city's gas prices have gone up 5.4 cents per gallon just in the past week. On Monday gas prices averaged out to $2.72 per gallon among the city's 212 gas stations. Local prices on Monday fell within a 30 cent spectrum. The cheapest rate was $2.59 per gallon, and the highest was $2.89 per gallon. That gap is even bigger when the lens is drawn out to look at the whole state.
