Child care providers could be eligible for scholarships

 FRANKFORT Kentucky’s child care providers may be eligible for the Early Childhood Development Scholarship to further their education in early childhood instruction.
“Kentucky’s economy is growing at a greater rate than it has in the past 25 years,” Gov. Andy Beshear said. “To maintain that economic growth, we need a trained, educated workforce with technical, business, and academic training. Early childhood education is critical to ensuring that the coming generation will be equipped to take their places in Kentucky’s economy.” ....
