By Allen Wicken Read Article This note is to let you all know that I have decided to discontinue my North by NorthEast column and photos submissions to The Rangeley Highlander. The reasons can best, be described as simply “editorial differences”. Hard to believe, but the column started with an essay I submitted to The Highlander back in December of 2002. It sufficiently impressed the then owner/editor, Kevin Bree, that he asked if I would be willing to write a regular column for his newspaper.
