HOUSTON — A former Basic Energy Services employee claims he was struck in the head and suffered injuries while attempting to dismantle a well.  Joshua Lackey filed a complaint Jan. 25 in Harris County District Court against Key Rig Energy Services Inc., and James Stein alleging liability.  According to his complaint, Lackey was employed by Basic Energy Services which was under contract with Key Rig Energy to dismantle one of Key Rig's wells.  He alleges that on March 23, 2020, he and four others were removing "heavy bolts" from the well while Stein was driving a forklift and caused a we...
