Bellevue woman turns personal tragedy into federal legislation
Sharon Shore has been lobbying Nebraska members of Congress for two years to require automakers to engineer idling keyless ignition vehicles to turn off automatically after a certain period of time. The bill was added and passed in the Senate infrastructure bill last week.
